Today President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda started his visit to the United States of America. He is accompanied by his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda. President Duda’s visit began with his participation in the general debate of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Afterward, the President of the Republic of Poland met with King Abdullah II of Jordan. They discussed the war in Ukraine, unrest in the Middle East, and the food crisis.
During the following meeting, President Andrzej Duda talked with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro about the elimination of double taxation in the field of income taxes, as well as an agreement on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information. During this meeting, leaders devoted much time to the war in Ukraine.
Zbigniew Rau, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Krzysztof Szczerski, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations, and the presidential ministers Małgorzata Paprocka and Jakub Kumoch accompanied President Andrzej Duda during his delegation.
