This is the moment for members of the POLISH AMERICAN CONGRESS to phone their members of Congress at their District Offices.  Please ask your United States Senators to co-sponsor Senate Resolution 566, a non-controversial description of why Stalin ordered the mass murder of approximately 22,000 Polish prisoners of war in April 1940, and then blamed his crime on Nazi Germans.  This resolution explains to the American people, and by extension to all throughout the world, how Stalin’s Katyń lie unraveled.  Let your Senator or the staffer with whom you speak know that Senate Resolution 566 has the support of the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee and of the Ranking Member.  This shows that both Democrats and Republicans support the Katyń Resolution.

Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-IL3) sponsored House of Representatives Resolution 986 which mirrors Senate Resolution 566. Please ask your member of the House of Representatives to co-sponsor  House Resolution 986 for the reasons cited above.
