VIRGINIA SIKORA ASSUMES PRESIDENCY OF
POLISH AMERICAN CONGRESS

On March 22, 2005, Edward J. Moskal, President of Polish American Congress passed away and Virginia Sikora assumed the presidency in accordance with the Polish American Congress By-Laws.

Virginia SikoraMs. Sikora, along with the Executive Committee, at a meeting on April 13, 2005, set forth the following basic tenets of Polish American Congress under the current leadership and direction.

1. The basic direction and scope of activities of Polish American Congress will be unchanged.

2. Polish American Congress will continue to unify all Polish Americans and Polish Organizations.

3. Polish American Congress will focus on an American agenda and support qualified Polish American Candidates for Local, State and National Offices. We must focus on bringing young Polish Americans into our Organization.

4. Polish American Congress will continue the education of our proud history, culture and traditions of Poland, to all Americans.

5. Polish American Congress will always seek to support and promote Poland, the Land of our ancestors.

6. Polish American Congress is always open to dialog with Polish authorities. Polish American Congress reserves the right to express its opinion concerning issues of Poland and the Polish people.

7. Polish American Congress will continue to support charitable efforts on behalf of Poland and its people.

Polish American Congress hopes that the Polish people and organizations join our forces, for its through unity that there is strength.
