PAC JOINS WITH CITIZENS FLAG ALLIANCE
IN LEGISLATIVE ALERT

Your attention is directed to the message from the Citizens Flag Alliance (CFA) headquarters. Presidents of Divisions in the following states: California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin, are urged to take appropriate action by following the instructions included in the message from the CFA:

Senate Joint Resolution 12, the flag amendment, is scheduled for markup by the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution on Wednesday, November 16, 2005. A start time has not been set.

This will be a very busy week in the Senate and to make sure that the Markup is done, we ask your help by contacting those members on the Subcommittee who represent your state. CFA Member Organizations are asked to pass this message to their members in the nine states listed below.

If your Senator is on the list, please call, fax or e-mail their office using the information below. Ask others in your state to do the same.

Those with an asterisk on their name are cosponsors of S.J. Res. 12. They should be thanked for their support and urged to be in attendance at the markup. All members of the Judiciary Subcommittee should be encouraged to move favorably on the amendment and advance it, without change, to the full Judiciary for their action before the Thanksgiving recess.

Those of you in Kansas are asked to make a special plea to Senator Brownback, Chairman of the Subcommittee. Thank him for his leadership in getting the amendment through the Subcommittee and urge him to get it done on Wednesday.

Copying the CFA office at cfa@cfa-inc.org would be appreciated.

For your Senators' home office, check the Federal Government "blue pages" in your local telephone book.
